Visitor Information Program (VIP)

The VIP role is a paid tour guide position supporting UConn’s daily campus visits and major admissions events. VIPs are the first point of contact for prospective students and families.

You’ll be trained to:

  • Lead engaging campus tours
  • Answer phones and work the front desk at the Lodewick Visitors Center and Tasker Hall
  • Check guests in for tours and events

Husky Insider

Husky Insiders are paid student ambassadors focused on recruiting underrepresented students to UConn. In this role, you’ll give personalized tours to school groups and lead outreach through calls, video chats, and special events.

If you’re passionate about inclusive representation and making college more accessible, this role is for you.

STAR Summer Internship

Be the face of UConn all summer long as a full-time STAR intern! You’ll live on campus, lead daily tours, and represent UConn to hundreds of prospective students and families.

STAR Benefits:

  • 35-hour work week
  • 10–15 vacation days
  • On-campus housing and meal plan
  • Off-campus housing stipend
